Kuma Bear journeyed south from Montreal on the Adirondack (no pictures, sorry) and transferred to the westbound Lake Shore Limited.

Under Kevin's stern admonishment, Kuma reviewed the evacuation and safety information for the Viewliner Bedroom. He pointed out that the map has bedrooms A and B reversed.

Kuma listens to Kevin's radio, awaiting the conductor's call of "highball" for Chicago.

Poor Bear; he was banished to this small room while Kevin and Lisa made the compartment comfortable for travel.

Bear says, "What is this?" Kevin cautions Kuma, "You don't want to mess with that unless you want another bath -- and a cold one at that!"

Freed from banishment to the bathroom, Kuma looks around the compartment. "I'm a bear, not an 'item,'" says Kuma Bear. "Besides, I want to go to bed."

"I forgot; what was this for?"

Kuma explores the spacious attic in a Viewliner Bedroom.

Kuma Bear is master of all he surveys.

Kuma climbs into the upper bunk while it's still folded away.

While getting down from the upper bunk, Kuma finds what he thinks is a gymnastics bar. "Look, I'm up in the air!"

"Whoops! Hey, get me down from here!"

You'd think Kuma would have learned his lesson coming east, but maybe not. He pushes his luck sitting on sleeping Big Bear's head.

After having his head tickled by Little Bear, Kevin finds this cozy little compartment for him near the door.
